Description:

We are seeking a senior level Construction Manager with over 10 years experience in COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION with several years detention center or prison construction experience.

Our project is located in Las Vegas, NV.

Our Construction Manager supervises several Project Managers and is the leader for assigned project teams. This Mgr. will have primary responsibilities for a project group, delegating work, and guiding Project managers in reaching personal and professional goals.

Duties:

Participates in the operating unit's fiscal and strategic business planning; responsible for the operating unit's fiscal and strategic business planning; actively involved in company policy planning.

Our Construction Manager will:

1. Calculate project cost projections and ensure they are carried out according to company profit objectives.
2. Ensure company policies are carried out according to company objectives through project cost review, emphasizing quality, cost, safety, and owner and subcontractor relationships.
3. Monitor quality by meeting with Project Teams, reegarding scheduling, personnel, material, and equipment procurement, job costs, etc.
4. May contractually commit the company in concert with an officer of the company.

Qualifications:

At least 10 years as a Project Manager in commercial construction.

Successful experience as a Sr. Project Manager.

Experience supervising Project Managers.

Knowledge of budgeting and accounting practices.

Demonstrated a bility to act effectively as a leader in an organization.

Working knowledge of risk management strategies and the ability to effectively manage risk.

Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills.

Has integrity; maintains normal standards of ethics, conduct, and organizational policies in job-related activities.
