The Retail Training Specialist is a multi-skilled role that includes building and enhancing relationships with the Kingsdown's existing partners in an effort to increase market penetration with that partner. This will be achieved through both direct consumer/on-the-floor sales and through training and education of our partner's sales staff to help them better present the company's products to the consumer.

Duties:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Direct consumer selling on the retail sales floor; RTSs are expected to maintain a high level of knowledge of the company's product and be able to effectively present our product to consumers. RTSs will take part in store activities and special promotions to support our partners in increasing sales.

Educating and training retail sales associates on how to sell and the benefits of selling the products to facilitate sales growth.

Maintain product and display on the retail floor, ensure that the product is displayed in a manner that supports sales growth and represents the best interests of the company. RTSs will also set up, maintain and repair any minor IT hardware/software or POP hardware that relates to the sales program.

Develop and implement, follow and revise action plans for stores and individual sales associates to increase sales performance, work to build and enhance relationships with stores/individual sales associates, develop sales incentives and provide product knowledge and education. RTSs will also continually evaluate competition on the retail floor and guard against advances in competitive market share.

Qualifications:

-Maintain professional demeanor and appearance.

-Ability to persuade and influence others.
-Ability to schedule planned account visits.
-Two or four year college degree preferred, high school diploma or GED required.
-1-2 years of Outside Retail Sales/Customer Service experience preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Excellent organization skills
-Outstanding customer service skills
-Computer skills to include knowledge of: Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Internet navigation
-Reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Credit card in your name
- Flexible scheduling thta will require working most weekends, holidays and occasional overnight travel.
