Preparation of menu items on the line with an emphasis on fast, professional service
Preparation of ingredients used on the line with an emphasis on freshness and quality
Cleaning and stocking of the line using proper procedures that promote good sanitation.
Read and call orders as printed from the kitchen printer, to the other cooks.

Duties: |
Proficiency of grilling, sauté cooking, fry cooking, sandwich preparation, breakfast cooking (eggs and omelets).
Must demonstrate proper knife skills and be knowledgeable in the use of mixers, slicers, stoves and ovens.
Must be able to read and understand orders and descriptors as printed from the kitchen printer, must be able to understand and respond to verbal queues from other team members
Must have a good understanding of sanitation and demonstrate good sanitation practices.
Must be able to function effectively with other Team Members in a fast paced environment

Qualifications: |
After training, Line Cooks are expected to produce to the quality standards and business levels of normal day-to-day operation. Normal training period is considered 3-5days for each work station.
Line Cooks are expected to practice good sanitation at all times, Hands washed at proper intervals, food products kept at proper temperatures, stations kept clean and clutter free.
Line Cooks are expected to behave in a professional manner, interacting in a courteous and helpful manner with other team members.
Line cooks are expected to follow direction from their Supervisors and not make the assumption that certain tasks are not their Job.
