Description: |
Minimum of two years in a Corporate Accounts Payable Department. Experience handling all functions of Accounts Payable including:
• Matching paperwork by alphabetizing and numerical sequencing daily work
• Verifying documents for accuracy of pricing, quantities, tax and freight against purchase orders.
• Identifying variances and resolving them timely
• Posting invoices into AS400 Inventory System and Accounts Payable system
• Daily check runs for invoices due
• File paid items into A/P files
• Month end accruals
• Vendor maintenance in vendor master
• Statement reconciliation
• Communication with vendors via email or telephone
• Excel spreadsheet experience for recap sheets on various accounts
• Excellent math aptitude

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • Frequent lifting of objects weighing up to 25 pounds. • Sit for long period of times at desk lasting up to 4 hours
HIGH VOLUME EXPERIENCE
• data entry in main frame computer system processing an average of 200 invoices daily
10-key by touch • Daily alphabetizing and numerical sequencing of documents for accounts assigned
• Excel spreadsheet experience in creation and maintenance of complex accounts
