| Responsible for designing and maintaining databases for online applications and for analysis as well as writing scripts to manage the ETL Process. Designs processes to combine data from various sources for efficient querying. Works with application developers to review database structures for new applications and upgrades. Has excellent troubleshooting skills and excels at digging into a database to find answers. Constantly seeks out knowledge to improve data aggregation processes. Expertly creates indexes, views and functions to present data in the most efficient way for multiple uses. Uses experience building reports in more than one reporting environment to create reusable reports and avoid report sprawl. Uses experience in Business Intelligence to design very useful star schemas so that end users can build their own reports. |
Duties: |
• Communicate with Team Members from several departments to understand their requirements.
• Design and build efficient databases for both production and analysis.
• Test the database structures that are developed.
• Proactively determine the resources needed for future growth.
• Build SQL tables, views, queries, stored procedures and processes to store, summarize and report on data.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes and suggest better solutions.
• Work independently or in a team
• Evaluate various options to solve a need – Provide analysis and recommend best solution
• Plan implementation and deployment.

Qualifications: |
• Demonstrate ability to bring value to the team writing beautiful TSQL.
• Eager to develop great solutions.
• Significant experience with Microsoft SQL as Database Developer or as Database Administrator.
• Must demonstrate excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Detail oriented
• Gaming card required upon hire.
• Business intelligence, data warehousing or data mining.
